Our new exhibition, launched at Tobruk House on Sunday, 24 May, proved to be a great success. From family members and ROTA supporters to curious passers-by, visitors were generous in their praise of the display. Arguably one of the most comprehensive exhibitions of Tobruk-related memorabilia ever assembled, it offers something of interest for everyone. It was therefore no surprise that, at the launch, visitors nominated a wide variety of exhibits as their personal favourites.
For those who were unable to attend, the next opportunity to view this unique collection will be on Sunday, 14 June, from 11.00 am to 3.00 pm at Tobruk House, 44 Victoria Avenue, Albert Park. It is an ideal way to spend a few hours on a winter afternoon in Melbourne while gaining a deeper appreciation of the story of Tobruk and the men who served there. After Sunday 14 June, Tobruk House will then be open every second Sunday.
