The 2025 AGM took place at Tobruk House on Sunday 23rd February. The decision to hold the meeting on a Sunday was a popular one and we had a large turnout of members as well as representatives from the Royal Children’s Hospital. The 2024 Annual Report was presented and approved, and it is available on our website here.
Professor Mark Mackay, Director of Neurology at the Royal Children’s Hospital, spoke of the value and importance of the Rats of Tobruk Neuroscience Fellowship and ROTA Vice President Paul Dipnall awarded Dr Nadia Truong, the 2025 Fellow, with the special medallion. Nadia was also made an honorary member of the association.
Past President Bruce Bingham and his wife Marlene Bingham stepped down from their committee positions and were each awarded a Lifetime Membership in recognition of the outstanding service each had contributed to the Rats of Tobruk Association.
