THE BOOK OF THE SIEGE OF TOBRUK

48 page colour book commemorating The Rats of Tobruk

Category:

From the earliest days of the launch of the large panel exhibition in 2020 we wondered how members and interested people outside Melbourne could experience it.  With the addition of 8 new panels late last year came the answer. We could make a book.

The end result is a high quality 48-page comprehensive explanation of the siege.  A great friend of the Rats, past Governor General Peter Cosgrove, kindly agreed to review the book and write a forward.

He concludes his forward with “This is a great and timely book to provide a fresh face on one of the greatest episodes in Australia’s military history. My sincere compliments to the authors, editors and production staff – you have marvellously honoured the memory.”

You can order a copy by calling the Merchandise Officer on 0432 232 502 or pick one up next time you visit Tobruk House.
