With the easing of COVID-19 restrictions, the association was able to host a special event at Tobruk House on Anzac Day this year. Whilst it was not possible to have the traditional Anzac Day reunion lunch, it was decided to have an open day and exhibition at our historic hall. The day was an outstanding success with well over 200 people visiting on the day to inspect the association’s collection of photographs and memorabilia, and to experience the ambience of the hall. There were also 24 panels on display, which told the story of the siege and history of the association. Incredibly positive feedback was received. This was a unique way to commemorate Anzac Day this year and the 80th Anniversary of the Siege of Tobruk. In view of the success, further open days at Tobruk House will be held later in the year. When dates are finalised, details will be provided on this website and in the Tobruk House News.
