Bendigo’s ‘Rats of Tobruk Exhibition’ Closed Due to COVID-19 Restrictions

Sadly, we have been advised by the President of the Bendigo District, RSL, that due to current COVID-19 restrictions, the ‘Soldier’s Memorial Institute Military Museum’ will not be open during October and therefore access to the Rats of Tobruk Exhibition is not possible.   Due to other commitments at the museum, it will not be possible to run the exhibition later this year.  There is however a good chance that there will be an opportunity to put it back on next year.  We apologise for any inconvenience this postponement causes.

On a brighter note, when 80% fully vaccinated in Victoria is achieved and COVID-19 restrictions ease, there is the possibility that ROTA will run another open day at Tobruk House before the end of the year.  This will provide the opportunity to view the Rats of Tobruk Exhibition in Melbourne.
